National Op Shop Week

Starts tomorrow!!!

It is an initiative of Do Something Near You.  Their website answers my most obvious question

What Is Do Something Near You?

Do Something Near You is Australia's definitive community directory and volunteer portal. The website provides vital links between charities, councils and communities.
The aim of the project is to encourage and assist members of the public and the business community to invest their time and resources in local not-for-profit organisations, to the benefit of all Australians.

Some coverage of the week is available online.

Lifeline Macarthur are having a 50% off sale on some selected stock in celebration of Op Shop Week http://www.lifelinemacarthur.org.au/index.php/national-op-shop-week
