The best value op shops in Sydney reopen on Monday 3 February 2014.  YADA, the Young Adult Disabled Association, fund their social programs primarily through op shop sales and recycling activities.

The store at Shop 3, 174 Townview Road (near Parkside Place) Mt Pritchard offers bargain clothing, shoes and accessories, homewares, linen, collectables, bric a brac and books. Avid readers will love that books are just 20c each or 6 for $1.  Staffed by volunteers, the store is open from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays.  Very popular with bargain hunters are the $5 bag sales where you can purchase as many clothes as you can fit into a shopping bag for just $5, as long as you can tie a knot in the top. I will post when these sales are on.

A second store at Shop 2, 45 Stanley Road Ingleburn offers a greater variety of goods, including furniture, in a more spacious setting.  The Ingleburn store is also open from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm on Saturdays. Store manager Dorothy and her team will welcome you warmly  when you visit
